For Penn State Students

Payment & Insurance

Though it's best to bring insurance information to the Emergency Department, no payment will be required before receiving care, and health insurance is not a requirement to be treated.

Where To Go If You’re Sick

Students are encouraged to use University Health Services for preventive and routine care. If UHS is closed, however, our Emergency Department can offer basic and emergency care any time of day or night. You can also come to a Mount Nittany Physician Group provider when you need specialized care not offered through UHS.
