Testing

In our continued efforts to protect patients, employees, and the community from the spread of COVID-19, Mount Nittany hosts several COVID-19 test collection sites. Mount Nittany Health continues to rigorously follow guidelines including, how test samples are collected and the proper wearing of personal protective equipment by staff at these sites.

The site is available Monday – Friday, from 4:00 - 7:00 pm, and Saturday, from 8:00 am to noon, for symptomatic pediatric and adult patients, by appointment only. Patients can access the test site by parking in the lower level lot and entering the lab located in suite 100.

 The collection site accepts orders from any provider as long as they make the appointment and fax the order. To make an appointment, call Mount Nittany Health’s central scheduling at 814.234.6106.

Please note, the test collection site operates outside of the normal business hours for the lab, imaging department and pain clinic at Mount Nittany Health - Blue Course Drive. The facility will undergo special cleaning measures each night.

Patients: Please read all instructions carefully prior to arrival. 

This site is exclusively for Mount Nittany Physician Group (MNPG) patients. Patients will need:

• They have a confirmed appointment time, by their MNPG primary care physician (PCP)
• Have their cell phone with them. Patients who do not have both the required order and appointment time slot will be referred out of the testing line. In order to be correctly registered, patients should also bring their insurance card and photo ID. 

This site is located outside of the Mount Nittany Health-Mifflin County facility, and patients will walk up to the space to receive their care.
