Virtual HEIR & Parent classes are available to expecting mothers and families on the third Thursday of each month. Held via Zoom, classes are taught by nurses at Mount Nittany Medical Center, starting at 7:00 pm at no cost to attendees.

During the class, attendees will have the opportunity to virtually tour the labor & delivery unit at the Medical Center, receive car seat information, and discuss breastfeeding and other relevant information. Each class will conclude with a Q&A session.

To attend the class, you can use your smartphone, tablet, or computer. You will also need a high-speed internet connection. To sign up for a class, please click here.  When registering for the class, please keep in mind that this is a public forum and your registration name and likeness (if you enable video) will be visible to other participants.  We encourage you to register with initials and disable your video.

After the HEIR and Parent class, participants are invited to attend a separate breastfeeding presentation. This presentation is approximately 45 minutes.
