Jeannine Lozier, manager, community health and outreach, receives 2021 Ann Graybill Cook Volunteer of Distinction Award

Mount Nittany Health is pleased to announce that Jeannine Lozier, manager, community health and outreach, Mount Nittany Health, is the recipient of the 2021 Ann Graybill Cook Volunteer of Distinction Award, presented by the Centre County Council for Human Services (CCCHS).

For Mount Nittany Health, Jeannine is responsible for coordinating the Community Health Needs Assessment, which identifies the most pressing health needs in the communities we serve, as well as a corresponding three-year implementation plan to address the findings. Additionally, Jeannine identifies best practices, and develops relationships across public and private sectors to advance and coordinate effective community health strategies to improve health and wellness.

Community engagement is central not only to Jeannine’s work with Mount Nittany Health, but to her life as well.

“Jeannine is very deserving of this award. She works tirelessly to strengthen our community in both her personal and professional lives. She approaches her work and volunteer pursuits with passion and dedication and I am delighted to see her receive this recognition,” shared Tom Charles, executive vice president system development, chief strategy officer, Mount Nittany Health.

In addition to the CCCHS, Jeannine has served on a number of local agency boards, including House of Care, Leadership Centre County and Centre County United Way, and contributes time to other volunteer activities.

“Jeannine is an enthusiastic visionary and problem solver. She is a creative thinker. She has a knack for seeing the big picture and for taking consistent action to progress towards goals,” shared Leanne Lenz, executive director, Centre Helps. “Jeannine’s positive attitude and enthusiasm inspires groups and organizations to come together for a greater purpose.”

Jeannine’s efforts with the CCCHS have supported the development of training seminars for members, fiscal growth and awareness, improvements in marketing and communications, and efficiencies in the processes that serve members’ needs.
