As part of the health system’s mission to make people healthier, Mount Nittany Health is pleased to once again participate in the American Lung Association® Freedom From Smoking program.

This seven-week, in-person class is led by a certified facilitator and offers a structured, systematic approach to quitting smoking. The program is an evidence-based cessation program that has helped hundreds of thousands of people break the habit.

Classes will meet on Mondays from October 12 – November 23 at 4:30 pm at the entrance to the Galen & Nancy Dreibelbis Auditorium, Mount Nittany Medical Center. Any Mount Nittany Health patient, employee or community member that is interested in enrolling in the program may do so.

Spaces are limited and registration is required. For more information or to register, call Adrienne Wise, RRT, lung nodule program coordinator, Mount Nittany Health, at 814.231.6881 or email adrienne.wise@mountnittany.org.
