Mount Nittany Health is pleased to announce the addition of Blake Stewart, DO, to Mount Nittany Physician Group General Surgery.
“My philosophy of care is to always put the patient’s care first,” says Dr. Stewart. “As long as you are doing that, you are doing the right thing.”
Dr. Stewart earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland, and his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida. He completed his general surgery residency
at Geisinger Wyoming Valley in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Stewart is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons and the American Osteopathic Association. He most recently served as a general surgeon with Lehigh Valley Physician Group in Pottsville, Pennsylvania.

Outside of the office, Dr. Stewart enjoys sports, including football. He is an avid University of Maryland fan. He also loves traveling around as much as he can.
