As always, it's imperative for everyone to do their part to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19. Be sure to take these steps to protect yourself and others:

Avoid close contact. Maintain 6 feet, about two arms' length, between yourself and people who don't live in your household. This is important as people without symptoms may be able to spread the virus.

Wear a mask. It is important to cover your mouth and nose when you are around others. Continue to keep about 6 feet between yourself and others as the mask is not a substitute for social distancing.

Wash your hands often. Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after being in a public place or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing. If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Cover all surfaces of your hands and rub them together until they feel dry.

Monitor your health.  Be on the alert for symptoms of COVID-19. This is especially important if you are headed to work, an indoor event, or just running errands. Follow CDC guidance if symptoms develop.

Add your phone in the fight against COVID-19. Download the free COVID Alert PA app. Get exposure alerts without compromising your privacy or personal information. Downloading the app is voluntary, but the more Pennsylvanians that use the app, the more successful our efforts will be to stop the spread of COVID-19. Learn More.
